Eine autologe Stammzelltransplantation ist bei aktiver MS offenbar viel wirksamer als der Wechsel auf einen anderen Immunmodulator: Bei fast 80 Prozent kommt die Erkrankung über fünf Jahre hinweg komplett zum Stillstand.
